Mr. B.V. Ranade established Kanad Vidyut at Pune, Maharashtra, India, to serve & support the Indian research and laboratory sector with enhanced variety of apparatuses. After completing his graduation from IIT Powai, Mumbai, he put his focus on creating better quality of reliable lab instruments that are worth investing money on. This has been our mission statement ever since. The banking unit, Sulekha, developed in 1994, received Hari Malini Joshi Innovation award. The first Solid State Light source based Biochemistry Analyzer Shreerang 01, now named as Kanad Photon was developed in the year 2005 with the support of Dr. Bipin Shah who provided real time data & inputs. Today, our entire offered range contains Bath Incubator, Clinical Biochemistry Analyzer, Curve Spectrophotometer, Digital Colorimeter, Laboratory Digital Hemoglobinometer, etc.
